Presentation of Papers and Discussions
|
Delegates will each prepare a paper on the youth entrepreneurship movement in their respective countries. The paper should explore the business climate in their home countries, the challenges faced by entrepreneurs, as well as possible business opportunities in the future. Delegates will then present their papers to the audience, to be followed by a discussion on how everyone can learn and adopt these ideas for themselves.

Lectures, Workshops and Simulation Games
|
Interactive workshops, games and effective lectures will be conducted to impart the basics of entrepreneurship and leadership to the delegates. Topics include understanding leadership, ideas generation, values proposition and key start-up indicators, financials, as well as making a pitch for venture capitalists and seeking funding.

Company Visits of Leading Entrepreneurs
|
Delegates will be brought to headquarters of famous local enterprises, both new startups and established companies, to observe their business operations. Among the companies lined up for visits are Stickfas, Qian Hu Ornamental Fish Farm, and Hyflux New Water Plant. |

Site Visits to Historical and Cultural Attractions
|
Singapore’s history and culture has been well capsulated by a few local attractions like the Asian Civilizations Museum, Chinatown, Little India and the Images of Singapore at Sentosa Island. Delegates will be able to immerse themselves in Singapore’s culture and heritage at these locations and understand how Singapore has developed from a rural fishing village into a modern cosmopolitan city-state.

Dialogue Sessions with Distinguished Local Leaders

These closed-door sessions will allow distinguished local leaders to freely interact with the delegates and respond to their questions on pertinent issues. Delegates will then hear first-hand the experiences and ideas from these successful leaders and will be inspired to their causes. |
